Trey Presson and The Bootheel Contingent

From a note Trey left for Small Town Boyz:
Whattup Homeys? Man, You guys are really impressive. Keep up the good work and just keep after it no matter what happens and good things are bound to happen. Thats just my philosophy anyway.
I didn't even pick up a guitar til i was 20 years old, so i think you guys are gonna be just fine. It's almost embarrassing to watch you guys eat my lunch on guitar when i see you play!! haha. Hopefully I'll see you guys soon. Lemme know if you guys ever need anything, I'll be glad to help if I can. Good Luck and God Bless!

Classic Rock Verses Metal
We're performing "Best of Days" in the video below. (The discussion continues below the video)
Our band really doesn't fit perfectly into any particular genre of rock 'n roll. Our material contains a blend of classic rock, southern rock, and some metal. From a creative standpoint, we've been influenced by all of the above. We only perform a couple of metal songs, but we'd like to know some of your favorites in the metal category:

Who's Your Favorite Mainstream Guitarist?

We're very fortunate to have an amazing drummer in our band, a first-rate bass player, and 2 lead guitarists. We're always adding more cool guitar leads. We spend a lot of time at practice and we play gigs whenever we can fit them into our schedule. We definitely play more gigs in the summer and try to clear our schedule a little more in the winter. Some cool acts come down to the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, MO and we had a total blast playing at the center over the spring.
Who's your favorite mainstream guitarist?
- Eddie Van Halen
- Stevie Ray Vaughn
- Randy Rhodes
- Zack Wild
